The HCP AVERAGES that are listed are based on 4 values.  It is your 3 BEST scores on the sheet over the past 21 weeks AND your overall Sheet Average.  Players with less than 10 rounds played will have their average based on their BEST 2 scores, 1 DUMMY score, and their overall average.  Once you record 10 scores, your DUMMY score will disappear.

Rookies will have a DUMMY score assigned to them that reflects their potential, not their average. 

Also, players may request to have a low DUMMY score assigned to them if they feel as though their potential is much better than they've played.  Thus, moving themselves up to the flight they feel most comfortable, even though their handicap will be lower than it should be.
